On November 27th we successfully held our annual Day Conference at the War Museum.
The title of this conference was: "Polar Regions: Their Impact on Our Planet”
This year’s evening event is particularly special, as it marks the first expedition of EL.E.PO.Z., carried out as a private initiative and funded by Laskaridis Shipping.
The expedition will include, for the first time, two researchers from the Technical University of Crete, who will visit Antarctica as guests at the Bulgarian base on Livingston Island.
We would also like to thank the Bulgarian Antarctic Institute for giving two Greek researchers the opportunity to visit their base in Antarctica.

On March 29th we successfully held our annual Day Conference at the War Museum after three years. The title of this conference was: "Explorations, Folklore, Climate Crisis and the Role of Turkey and the Balkan Countries at the Poles"

The Evening of our Day Conference was successfully organized in November 2019, which was attended by about 120 people despite the prevailing bad weather conditions.
The theme of this conference was: "POLAR ZONES: The benefits of their exploration and the our country's efforts to establish there a presence. "

On Sunday 5th of June 2016, the second day-conference of Hellenic Polar Zones Society took place in amphitheatre of War Museum in Athens. Our Honourable speakers were Dr. Med. Evag.
