Lectures by members of ELEPOZ at the Hellenic French School Jeanne d 'Arc

On Friday 25/2/2022, responding to an invitation from the Hellenic French School Jeanne d 'Arc based in Piraeus, two lectures were held with great success to the students of the 1st Class of Gymnasium about the polar regions.

On behalf of Hellenic Polar Zones Society the speakers were :

1. Dr. Kosmas Gazeas, Lecturer of the Department of Physics, Section of Astrophysics, Astronomy and Mechanics of National and Kapodistrian University of Athens

2. Miss Angelina Temponera, Geologist of National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, MSc in Integrated Petroleum Geoscience.

We warmly thank the Deputy Director of the Hellenic French School Jeanne d' Arc Mrs. Maria Patera for her invitation and the opportunity she gave us to present the polar zones to the students and their importance for our planet.
